So ever since the radios and mainstream blogs have found Avicii’s Levels (a good 6+ months after it was released, why does it take so fucking long?!), everyone has jumped on the “Make A Levels Remix to Get Hype” bandwagon. I gotta say, it’s been awfully disappointing. I have yet to hear a remix remotely as moving and great as the original….
Until this one.
The thing I love about this one is that it incorporates just enough of the original to keep you knowing it’s a Levels remix, with the ubiquitously overused “I get a good feeling” hook by Etta James and some lead-ins. But other than bits and pieces, this remix is itself its own unique song: bouncy, funky, and fun, with just enough levels elements to keep you coming back. Enjoy the weekend, and turn this song up as loud as your eardrums (and neighbors) will allow.
